F.A.Q

1) What happens if I lose MyFE Ferrara tourist card?

When you purchase MyFE, you will receive the following:
your card with your preferred validity, a cumulative ticket that will allow you free access to MyFE museums, and a travel notebook to take with you during your stay containing information on the city and the MyFE card.
If you lose your card, but not the cumulative ticket, you can still get into museums. However, you will not be able to enjoy additional discounts without the paper copy of your card.
If you lose your cumulative ticket, but not the card, our ticket programme will not be able to reprint your ticket. You will therefore not be entitled to free access to MyFE museums.
If you lose your card and the cumulative ticket, you will have to purchase a new card. No refunds are given.

2) Is there a MyFE Kids card?

No. We do not have a card specifically for children as access to the city museums is free to anyone under the age of 18, the Castle Museum is free for children under 6 (tickets cost 1 € for children up to 12 years of age, and for each paying adult one child has free entry), while access to state museums is free to children under the age of 18.

3) Does MyFE have my name on it?

Yes, it does. The moment you purchase it, you have to fill out the back with your name and surname. Therefore, one card can only be used by one person.

4) Where can I buy one?

You can purchase the MyFE Ferrara tourist card at the ticket office of the following museums:
Estense Castle Museum, Cathedral Museum, Palazzo Schifanoia, Palazzina Marfisa d'Este and the Risorgimento and Resistance Museum.
From December 2013 you can also purchase MyFE on the card's website.

5) Are there days when the MyFE ticket offices are closed?

Yes. The Cathedral Museum, Palazzo Schifanoia, Palazzina Marfisa d'Este and the Risorgimento and Resistance Museum are all closed on Mondays.
As for the Estense Castle Museum, it will be closed on Mondays (except bank holidays, from September to May. The museum will be closed on the 25th of December).

6) How can I take advantage of discounts on the Bus&Fly shuttle?

Once you get on the Bus&Fly shuttle, just show your card (or the pdf printout if you purchased your card online).

7) How often can I visit each museum?

You can only visit each museum once, and enjoy just one discount at each of the other businesses that participate in the scheme.

8) Is there a special procedure I have to follow in order to enjoy the tourist tax exemption?

We strongly recommend that you inform your accommodation facility that you have the MyFE Ferrara tourist card the moment you book your room, or as soon as you arrive at your accommodation, in order to avoid paying the tourist tax.
